Normative: Suitable for use in contact with food in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EC) 1935/2004 of October 27, 2004, of the European Parliament and of the Council, repealing Directives 80/590/EEC and 89/109/EEC.

Composition: Plates made of natural slate using mechanical and manual means (extraction, cutting, carving, engraving, and dishwasher washing). No chemical processes or treatments are used in manufacturing. Slate is classified as an inert material.

Storage and Use: Wash with a soft sponge and specific dishwasher liquid. Do not use a scouring pad on the piece. Suitable for dishwasher use. Suitable for refrigerator and freezer.

Recommendations: To prevent food (if hot) from cooling down, heat the plates in the oven at low temperatures (max. 100º) or immerse them in hot water before assembling on the slate.
