DISCOVER LA ESPAÑOLA’S HIDDEN GEM “Our Deli”

La Espanola’s Deli is the only store in Los Angeles-area that deals exclusively with Spanish products. If you love Spanish food and are living in the LA area, then a trip to La Espanola, one of only four Spanish cured meat producers in the United States should definitely be on your to do list.

Every week many Spaniards as well as Americans come into our lovely shop located in the great area of Lomita to pick up some Manchego cheese, or serrano ham, some Spanish paprika or our famous Fabada Asturiana. People come in for our northern style chorizos de Bilbao that dangle on racks behind the shop’s compact deli case or for the tiny links of russet Cantimpalito sausages of central Spain.

Tucked away in a Harbor City neighborhood in the County of Los Angeles is our hidden little gem just off Lomita Blvd in a simple commercial building with a modest exterior and a bright interior. La Espanola Meats gives a taste of Spain to the local Southern California neighborhood.

As you walk inside passing a rack of paella pans on your left, you come upon a display case of Spanish olive oils, cookies, chocolates and a variety of canned products imported directly from Spain. While just off to the right is an impressive floor to ceiling wall case of Spanish wines. A table setup in the back by the deli section offers plates of fine Spanish cheeses cut in bite-sized cubes, thinly sliced sausages, breads, artichoke dip, pickled vegetable items and green olives, an irresistible enticement to sample and buy their products.

A Taste of Spain in Los Angeles

A tent covered patio is located outside to the right of our building and it is landscaped with potted plants, bougainvilleas and a water fountain. This tranquil and relaxing atmosphere is perfect for you to enjoy your meal. For a taste of Spanish cuisine at a reasonable price and a place to find unique Spanish gourmet foods, an afternoon drive to La Española Meats is worth the trip.

Every day of Monday to Saturday, to eat in our terrace or carry. They see to taste the flavors of our Spanish land.
